Production of wholesale Arabica coffee beans

Arabica coffee production dropped dramatically in MY 2019/20, but rebounded in MY 2020/21. Because the Brazilian harvest fell in the last year of the biannual production cycle, Arabica coffee production fell by 3.2 percent in MY 2019/20 compared to prior MYs. Wholesale Arabica coffee beans are available in a variety of popular varieties.

Bourbon, Typica, Moka, and Catimor are some of the most popular wholesale Arabica coffee beans. Bourbon, Typica, and Moka are the world’s oldest coffee kinds, yet they’re tough to grow and disease-prone. The Catimor variety, produced from Caturra and Timor Hybrid, on the other hand, is easier to grow, produces better yields, and is more resistant to coffee rust.

Bourbon

Bourbon coffee plants thrive at elevations of 1,100 to 2,000 meters above sea level. Bourbon can produce a yield that is 20 to 30% higher than Typica.

Bourbon coffee is available all throughout the world, although it is most popular in Brazil, Colombia, and Costa Rica.

Typica

Typica is one of the two most important types of Arabica coffee beans sold wholesale. It is difficult to grow, produces a low yield, is disease-prone, and can only be grown at an altitude of 1500 meters. Typica, on the other hand, is of excellent quality and is chosen by many coffee aficionados.

In Indonesia, Jamaica, Colombia, and Vietnam, Typica coffee is widely farmed.

Moka

Moka is a rare coffee from the highest grade group of coffees.

Moka comes from Mocha, Yemen, and is best suited to locations between 1500 and 1600 meters above sea level. This plant necessitates meticulous attention and the use of specialist procedures.

Moka coffee is widely grown in Vietnam’s Cau Dat – Lam Dong region, as well as Brazil and Colombia.

Catimor

With cool temperatures, the ideal altitude for growing Catimor is around 550-1920m. It thrives at altitudes of 700-1000 meters, in particular.

Catimor coffee is farmed mostly in Portugal, Central and South America, and several Vietnamese regions.
